Title:
ELECTROCHROMIC ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016045464
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic element operated in a constant voltage, excellent in repetition durability and high in contrast.SOLUTION: An electrochromic element comprises: a first electrode 12 and a first electrochromic layer 13 on a first support 11 in this order; a second electrode 17 and a second electrochromic layer 16 on a second support 18 provided so as to face to the first support 11 in this order; and an electrolyte 15 charged between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 17. The first electrochromic layer 13 consists of a material exhibiting color by an oxidation reaction (at least one kind selected from a polymer obtained by polymerizing a composition including a radical polymerizable compound having a triaryl amine, a Prussian blue type complex and a nickel oxide), and the second electrochromic layer 16 consists of a material exhibiting color by a reduction reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
