PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic unit mounting rack composed of component parts which are low in transportation cost, easily assembled at an installation site, and comparatively lightweight by a method wherein a frame is composed of 12 ridge members which are freely joined together through the intermediary of 6-way joints, and a front shelf, a rear shelf, and a guide board are capable of being built in the frame without using bolts.
CONSTITUTION: Electronic units 1 each composed of a box-shaped shelf where printed wiring boards 3 are housed are mounted on an electronic unit mounting frame rack 20 as stacked in layers. The frame 20 is formed into a rectangular parallelepiped with four horizontal long ridge members 22, four horizontal short ridge members 23, four vertical ridge members 24, and eight 6-way joints 21 which join three different ridge members vertical to each other together in a detachable manner. A front shelf 40 composed of cross beams 42 which bridge a space between a pair of vertical pillar plates 41 and provided between the front upper and front lower horizontal long ridge member 22 and a rear shelf 45 provided between the rear upper and rear lower horizontal long ridge member 22 are provided. Furthermore, a guide plate 50 is provided bridging a space between the cross beam 42 of the front shelf 40 and the cross beam 47 of the rear shelf 45 in a detachable manner.
