Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain incident electromagnetic waves from being reflected throughout a wide bandwidth and a wide range of incident angle.
CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorbing device is composed of a porous electric absorbing layer and a metal plate laminated on the electric absorbing layer. The electric absorbing layer is formed of first polymer material of thermoplastic or thermosetting resin and second polymer material which contains an oxazoline and/or an oxazine monomer unit having a side chain below 40 in number of carbon atoms. Furthermore, one or more additional electric absorbing layers, magnetic absorbing layers, impedance matching layers, and/or ceramic coatings are capable of being contained.
