To provide an S-shaped electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a high degree of freedom in design and high performance by using a specific nonuniform charge transfer layer.
This photographic photoreceptor has a charge generating layer, the nonuniform charge transfer layer and a uniform charge transfer layer on a conductive substrate. The nonuniform charge transfer layer is formed by dispersing particulates contg. an org. charge transfer material in a binder resin. Even more, the charge transfer material is formed of an org. charge transfer type lowmolecular compd. which does not exhibit electron absorption in a wavelength region of ≥600nm. This electrophotographic photoreceptor is utlized for a digital type electrophotographic device which forms image after the process of executing the exposure based on image signals subjected to digital processing and forming the latent images on the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
