PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having excellent characteristics by using a diphenyl triazole compd. contg. an alkyl group, aralkyl group, ally group or heterocyclic group.
CONSTITUTION: The diphenyl triazole compd. having the structure expressed by the general formula and polaymide, etc., as a binder are compounded and are dissolved in a solvent such as methanol. The soln. is coated on an electric charge transfer layer consisting of amorphous Si, etc., and is dried. The photosensitive body constituted in the above-mentioned manner is less fluctuated in bright and dark parts at the time of respective use. In the formula, R1WR3 are a methyl group, benzyl pyridyl group, etc., and Ar1, Ar2 are a phenyl group, pyridyl group, etc. These groups may have a substituent such as halogen atom, alkoxy group and nitro group.
