Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner with which a high-quality image can be obtd. without causing increase in fog, decrease in image density, production of cleaning defects, decrease in transfer efficiency or irregular image even when the toner is used for a long period of time.
SOLUTION: This toner is prepared by externally adding a mixture of fine powders to color particles containing at least a binder resin and a coloring agent. The mixture of fine powders consists of silica having 5 to 20 nm average primary particle size the surface of which is treated with an alkoxysilane or silazane, and at least one kind of silica or titanium oxide having 30 to 500 nm average primary particle size the surface of which is treated with a silicone oil.
