Abstract:

PURPOSE: To roll every part of the ground accurately so as to obtain required compaction strength by a vibration roller.
CONSTITUTION: Variable exciting devices are respectively provided to the insides of a front wheel drum 2 and a rear wheel drum 2 of a vibration roller R, a density and moisture instrumentation device 46 is provided to a rear neighborhood section of the front wheel drum 2, an electromagnetic pickup for running distance detection is provided to the inside of the rear wheel drum 3, compaction strength and running distance are obtained on the basis of detection signals of the instrumentation device 46 and electromagnetic pickup in the case of rolling and are stored, and the variable exciting device in the rear wheel drum 3 is controlled on the basis of the compaction strength. Furthermore, in the vibration roller equipped with a rear wheel tire, data of position information and compaction strength is stored in the case of rolling, and in the case of every rolling, the exciting devices are controlled on the basis of a present position detected in the present time, the position information stored in the previous time and compaction strength.
