To provide a fastening device on which a fastening construction confirming device can be mounted usefully for visually and easily determining the completion of fastening construction and inspecting a failure to fasten.
The fastening device comprises a screw part, a ratchet member having a first ratchet base and first ratchet teeth, an elastic member, a washer, a second ratchet base, a fastening part, a rotary member, and a case. The ratchet member and the rotary member are locked to each other so that the first and second ratchet teeth do not disengage from each other before the elastic member is compressed as predetermined, and unlocked from each other when the elastic member is compressed as predetermined. A cavity is set between the outer face of the rotary member between the outer face and the intermediate of the second ratchet base and the inner face of the bent end of the case. A second elastic member is arranged in the cavity. It energizes the cavity to widen in a screw axial direction after fastening.
