To obtain a thin and lightweight filter for shielding electromagnetic wave in which variation of appearance is prevented even if heat is radiated from the surface of a display by forming an electromagnetic wave shield layer of metal mesh on one side of a transparent plastic film and an adhesive layer having specified adhesion on the other side.
The filter for shielding electromagnetic wave has an electromagnetic wave shield layer of metal mesh formed on one side of a transparent plastic film and an adhesive layer having adhesion of at least 10 g/cm at 80°C formed on the other side. When such an adhesive layer is formed, the filter can be pasted directly to a display body. Consequently, appearance of the filter is not deformed even if heat is radiated from the surface of a display. Furthermore, thickness and weight can be reduced since no supporting plate is required when the filter is stuck onto the surface of a display. Consequently, the filter is extremely useful for a display.
