Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a wheelchair to a floor surface of a vehicle without worsening convenience of the wheelchair.
SOLUTION: A wheelchair C is provided with a pair of right/left strikers 25 in a front part of a frame 11 also a lock bar 13 in a rear part, the striker 25 is locked by a pair of right/left first lock means 67 provided in a floor surface of a wheelchair transport vehicle, the lock bar 13 is locked by a second lock means 68. The striker 25 is provided in the vicinity of a caster 28 and in a position higher than a step 35. At general running time and folding time of the wheelchair C, the other end of the lock bar 13 can be sprung in the upward with its one end serving as the support point. The striker 25 and the lock bar 13 can be mounted/demounted relating to the frame 11 of the wheelchair C.
