To obtain a fluorescent organopolysiloxane which fluoresces under the influence of ultraviolet rays by using a specified organopolysiloxane polymer having an Si-bonded reactive olefin moiety and a fluorescent group.
This polymer is an organopolysiloxane polymer having a general formula selected from formulas (i) to (iv) (wherein R1 is a 1-4C alkyl or phenyl; L is a monovalent organic group represented by the general formula: -R2N= CHC9 (wherein R2 is a bivalent organic group; R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, a monovalent halohydrocarbon group, a 2-8C olefinic hydrocarbon group, a hydroxyl group or group L; these polymers have each at least two reactive olefin moieties on the average per molecule, and have at least one group L on the average per molecule; and x+y+z≥1).
