PURPOSE: To form the cured coating on a substrate without a need for a heat cure by sticking a composition containing the first reaction system and the second reaction system on the substrate as the coating, exposing the composition to the first chemical ray, then exposing the composition to the other second chemical ray.

CONSTITUTION: The composition containing the first reaction system consisting of a free radical polymerizable material and a photoinitiator of free-radical polymerization and the second reaction system consisting of a cationic polymerizable epoxy resin and a photoinitiator of cationic polymerization is stuck on the substrate as the coating. Then the composition is exposed to an effective amount of the first chemical ray capable of starting a reaction in a desired degree in one reaction system and hardly causing substantially the reaction in the other reaction system. Then the composition is exposed to the effective amount of the second chemical ray other than the first chemical ray capable of starting the reaction in the desired degree in the other reaction system. In this way, the cured coating is formed on the substrate without the need for the heat cure.
