Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent hindrance in the recycling of lubricating oil by recovering lubricating oil from the air compressed by a compressor, fractionally from water.
CONSTITUTION: The air compressed by a compressor 1 is separated simultaneously into contained lubricating oil and water by a normal gas-liquid separator provided at the intermediate part of a passage to equipment receiving the supply. While the lubricating oil and water are being stored in the liquid storage chamber 14 of the gas-liquid separator 9, only the water is absorbed into a water absorber 23 provided at the bottom part of the chamber 14, so that only the lubricating oil is left in the chamber 14 and recovered to the oil pan of an engine through a pressure sensitive valve 25 and a lubricating oil return pipe 26. Since the water absorbed into the water absorber 23 receives heat radiated at the time of the compressed air passing a heat exchanging passage 7 so as to be evapo-transpirated into air flow flowing in a ventilator 24, the water absorbing capacity of the water absorber 23 is regenerated. Water vapor is condensed at the time of the compressed air being cooled in the heat exchanging passage 7, and this results in accelerating the separation of water in the gas-liquid separator 9.
