PURPOSE: To provide a gas-blowing electric furnace, capable of replacing a gas-blowing nozzle, damaged by fusing, or repairing the refractory bricks of a hearth unit without dismantling a furnace body and capable of changing the installation position and the number of the gas-blowing nozzles easily.

CONSTITUTION: A gas-blowing electric furnace is constituted of a furnace cell 1, refractory bricks 4 incorporated into the whole of the inner surfaces of the furnace cell 1, a gas blowing gas pipe 3, penetrating through the side unit of the furnace cell 1 and introduced to a vicinity of a hearth surface in the furnace, and a gas blowing nozzle 2, attached detachably to the tip end of the gas pipe 3.
