Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive grinding attachment, and its control method for highly accurately determining the cutting quality of a grinding wheel without enlarging and complicating a device constitution.
This grinding attachment has a control unit 5 for controlling a grinding speed of the grinding wheel 1 to an inner race raw material (a workpiece), and is provided with an arithmetic operation part 51a (a cutting quality determining means) for acquiring an actual speed of the grinding speed by an arithmetic operation by using the output pulse number to an infeed motor 42, and determining the cutting quality of the grinding wheel 1 on the basis of an indicating speed of the grinding speed and the acquired actual speed.
