Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add the angle adjustment mechanism of a bit for changing an operation mode.
SOLUTION: This hammer drill makes a drill mode in which a clutch ring 25 is meshed with only a second gear 20 at the position rotated a change lever 40 by the maximum amount in a right turn toward an intermediate shaft 13 and at the position rotated the change lever 40 by 90° in the left from here, makes a hammer drill mode in which the clutch ring 25 is meshed with a second gear 20 and a boss 15. When the change lever 40 is rotated by about 45° in the left from here, the clutch ring 25 is meshed with the boss 15 as it is and the second gear 20 makes neutral separating from the clutch ring 25. When the change lever 40 is rotated by 45° in the left from neutral, the second gear 20 makes a hammer mode in which the rotation is locked by the mesh with the lock claw 36 of the clutch plate 31.
