PURPOSE: To utilize idle space by rotating, raising and lowering a clamper clamping a cylinder, moving it along rails and storing it while clamping the axial direction of the cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A clamper 40 of a hang carrier 10A for cylinders is lowered by a winch 32. A clamp arm 54 is rotated and made to clamp a sleeve 15 on a coil car 19. The clamper 40 is elevated, lifting the sleeve 15. The hang carrier 10A is moved to a delivery position. A rotating base 43 holding the clamper 40 is rotated, changing the direction of the sleeve 15. The clamper 40 is lowered, the clamp arm 54 is released, and the sleeve 15 is stored in the delivery place. Consequently, even a small space is utilized for storing by changing the direction of the cylinder in accordance with the shape of the space.
