Title:
HIGH-PRECISION D/A CONVERTER AND ITS CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3303839
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new high-precision D/A converter which can finely and accurately compensate the offset of an output buffer circuit over all digital code data by inputting an output voltage to an output voltage correction block, inputting the output of the output voltage correction block to a buffer block, and controlling the switching of a gain varying means of the output voltage correction, block.
SOLUTION: A switch control means 4 switches a 1st switch 6a to the side of the output voltage correction block 1b and controls a 3rd switch mechanism 5c to inputs V(α:0) of the output voltage of an output voltage generation block 1a to an input terminal 1ba of the output voltage correction block 1b. Then V(α-1:0) is inputted to an input terminal 1bb. Then a 4th switch mechanism 5d is controlled to turn off switches SWf1 to SWfγ, step by step, of the output voltage correction block 1b connected to the input terminal 2a of the D/A output buffer block 2, thereby gradually varying the voltage inputted to the input terminal 2a.
