To provide a hologram having improved characteristics and a method of forming the hologram.
A hologram comprises: a holographic layer comprising a photosensitive layer and having holographic structures formed using a light source having at least a first wavelength; and a luminescent material configured to absorb the first wavelength and to emit light having a second wavelength. A method of forming the hologram comprises: exposing portions of the photosensitive layer to the light source having at least the first wavelength to form the holographic structures in the photosensitive layer; selecting the luminescent material configured to absorb the first wavelength and to emit light having the second wavelength; and incorporating the luminescent material into the hologram.
