Title:
IDLING SPEED CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62253941
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the engine speed from slowing down greatly by making the controlled gain smaller as much as the engine speed lowering rate becomes larger at the transient time when the engine speed reduces to a level less than a fixed number of rotation to start a feedback control.

CONSTITUTION: A control device 15 is provided with an engine-speed detecting means 16, an engine-speed adjusting means 10 and a feedback controlling means 22 which controls the engine-speed adjusting means 10 so that the engine speed at the time of idling is caused to reach a target idling engine speed. In addition to the above constitution, there is provided a controlled-gain varying means 24 for making the controlled gain in a feedback control smaller as much as the lowering rate of the engine speed becomes larger at the time when the engine speed reduces to a level within a feedback control area from levels outside the feedback control area. Thereby, a rapid lowering of the engine speed can be prevented, and at the same time, a quick approach to the target idling engine speed can be achieved.
