Abstract:
To provide an image correcting system, an image correcting method and a program achieving an image display approximating a view of an actual color of an object under environmental light from a predetermined light source without increasing a load to a user and without depending on the environmental light of the light source when an image is picked up and on the characteristics of an image pickup device.SOLUTION: An image correcting server 4 includes: a picked-up image obtaining unit 410 that obtains to-be-picked-up image information that indicates a picked-up image of an object subjected to an image pickup; a specific location color information obtaining unit 412 that obtains specific location color information that indicates a tristimulus value containing a spectral reflectance measured at the specific location of the object subjected to the image pickup by a measuring apparatus that measures color information indicating a color; a picked-up image correcting formula generating unit 413 that generates a correcting formula which corrects the imaging tristimulus value which is the tristimulus value of the pixel of the picked-up image to an estimated tristimulus value under a standard light source on the basis of the specific location color information; and a corrected picked-up image output unit 414 which corrects the imaging tristimulus values of all the pixels of the object subjected to the image pickup in the to-be-picked-up image information to the estimated tristimulus values by the correcting formula, and which outputs corrected picked-up image information that indicates the picked-up image having undergone the correction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
