In the image information system where an image entry device and an image processing unit are interconnected by a communication means, the image entry device allows a composite means to compose access information stored in a storage means with an input image and transmits the input image composed with the access information by the composite means and original image information used to restore part of the original image data lost by the composite through the communication means. The image processing unit receives the input image with the access information composed therewith and the original image data, connects with a site specified by the access information, and receives key information to eliminate the access information from the input image with the access information composed therewith to restore the original image.
