To provide an imaging apparatus and method for correcting imaging system parameters in the same, in which at the same time unobstructed sky spherical surface images can be obtained.
An imaging apparatus 3 comprises a pair of fish-eye lenses 10l, 10r of which surfaces 11l, 11r, to which external lights are incident are disposed so as to be positioned opposite to each other and in which the angle of view w is 180° or larger; an optical path change element 20 which is disposed between the pair of fish-eye lenses and changes optical paths of the external lights, passed through the fish-eye lenses to propagate the external lights to the same side; and an imaging means 30 capable of capturing object images 50l, 50r formed, based on the external lights of which the optical paths are changed by the optical path change element. In this imaging apparatus 3, a first imaging section 60l is constituted by including one of the pair of fish-eye lenses, the optical path change element and the imaging means, and a second imaging section 60r is constituted by including the other of the pair of fish-eye lenses, the optical path change element and the imaging means.
