Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a phenomenon in which a developer is attached to a non-exposed portion of a photoreceptor during a period to decelerate the photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a photoreceptor (photoreceptor drum 61); a charger 62 that charges the photoreceptor; a developing roller 71 that is in contact with the photoreceptor to supply a developer; and a control part 100. The control part 100 executes image formation control of rotating the photoreceptor and developing roller 71 to apply an image formation voltage to the developing roller 71, deceleration control of gradually decelerating the photoreceptor and developing roller 71 to a halt, and first voltage control of applying, to the developing roller 71, a post-image formation voltage larger than the image formation voltage during the deceleration control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
