Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can provide a stable density of a character image and a line image (particularly, thin line) irrespective of information on the attribute of an image, such as object data.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: a control part 50 capable of executing image formation in a first mode (full color mode) and a second mode (black monochrome mode); and instruction means 17 that instructs the control part 50 to change the setting of a developing voltage applied to a predetermined developing member 41d being a developing member corresponding to a predetermined image carrier 1d on which a toner image is formed in the second mode, to the setting of a developing voltage applied to the predetermined developing member 41d in the first mode. When instructed by the instruction means 17, the control part 50 changes, when executing image formation in the second mode, the setting of the developing voltage applied to the predetermined developing member 41d to the setting of the developing voltage applied to the predetermined developing member 41d in the first mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
