Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle image processing apparatus capable of improving safety in the case of application to an electronic mirror device or the like for displaying picked-up images around a vehicle.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: a frame memory; an image input part for storing image information of a picked-up image into the frame memory as input image information; an image quality conversion part for performing image quality conversion on the input image information being stored in the frame memory for the unit of a frame; an image output part by which the image information is read out of the frame memory and outputted to a display device; a control part for controlling a function of the image quality conversion part based on a travel state of a vehicle and switching a frame delay amount relative to input of image information outputted from the image output part; and an interpolation frame setting part which sets an interpolation frame to be outputted during a shift period for shifting from a first frame delay amount before the switching by the control part to a second frame delay amount after the switching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
