Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information gathering/distributing device capable of reducing the time lag up to being uploaded in a Web server after transmitting new news from an information provider.
SOLUTION: An information gathering/distributing server 11 on a network is provided with a log file monitoring part 15 for always monitoring a log file for holding received information of a data file. When the information gathering/distributing server 11 receives a new data file from an information provider computer 10, a log file recording part 17 records receiving operation of the new data file on a log file. A storage device 13 stores the log file. The log file monitoring part 15 detects the log file, and informs a news server 16 of the effect of recording the new data file on the basis of the content. The news server 16 receives the new data file from the information gathering/ distributing server 11 when transmitting a transmission request of the data file to the information gathering/distributing server 11, and can display the new data file on a WEB page.
