An information processing unit comprises: a user state detecting unit for detecting a state of each of users who browse a same content at a same time; and a display control unit for controlling display of the content browsed by the plurality of users at the same time, display of information unique to each user superimposed and displayed on the content, and display of the information unique to each user according to the state of each user detected by the user state detecting unit. In the information processing unit, the display control unit performs control for displaying the information unique to each user superimposed and displayed on the content, in the vicinity of a pointer operated on the content by each user.
