Title:
INNER REVOLUTION TYPE BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01110039
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify a manufacturing process and to enable high speed revolution by making segment magnets of a rotor longer than a magnetic pole and providing the projected ends from the magnetic pole with a ring member that encircles them and pressed into them.

CONSTITUTION: A rotor is constituted of a plurality of segment magnets 2a∼2d and a rotor shaft 3. The segment magnets 2a∼2d are such that their axial length is longer than a magnetic pole of a stator, so that their ends are projected from the magnetic pole. A ring member 14 is pressed into these ends by enclosing them. The ring member 14 is so formed that its internal diameter is more or less smaller than its outer diameter after adhering of the segment magnets. According to the constitution, the segment magnets 2a∼2d are accurately maintained, and can withstand the high speed revolution. In a balancing process of the rotor, the circular member may be grinded, so that the manufacturing process can be simplified.
