Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably form stratified air-fuel mixture around an ignition plug in stratified combustion operation.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine controller configured to control an internal combustion engine includes a fluid injection valve provided along an axis direction of an ignition plug, and a fuel injection valve constituted separately from the fluid injection valve and provided in a direction crossing the axis direction of the fluid injection valve. The internal combustion engine controller includes a control unit configured to in a compression stroke, control the fluid injection valve and the fuel injection valve so as to inject fluid from the fuel injection valve after injecting fluid from the fluid injection valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
