Title:
IRRIGATION WATER TREATMENT IN GOLF-COURSE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03296489
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control the disease and insect damage to the lawn and trees within a golf course by blowing ozone gas in irrigation water used in the golf course so that the concn. of ozone becomes 0.1-5.0ppm to apply the ozonized water to the lawn of the golf course.

CONSTITUTION: When irrigation water results from the pond and water storage tank within a golf course, the water is passed through a filter 3 by a pump 4 to be pretreated in a sand filter tank 15 and subsequently introduced into a reaction tower 7 through an ejector 6. The ozone generated in an ozone generator 2 is injected in the irrigation water through the ejection 6 to adjust the concn. of ozone in the irrigation water within the reaction tower 7 to the range of 0.1-5.0ppm. Subsequently, the prepared ozonized water is supplied to the pond 11. Further, the ozonized water can be also used in other fields as purified treated water or cleaning water by subjecting the same to purifying treatment using a gas-liquid separation apparatus 10 or an activated carbon tank 8.
