Abstract:

PURPOSE: To deal with absorption of energy due to plastic deformation of a structure at a big earthquake by means of the joint part between a pillar and a girder.
CONSTITUTION: Many precast concrete pillars 1 are standingly provided on the base of concrete, and a girder receiving jaw 2 is formed in one body with the precast concrete pillar 1. The projection 4 on the end part of a precast concrete girder 3 is supported with the girder receiving jaw 2 through filler 5, and many precast concrete girders 3 are mounted extending over respective pillars 1 between. The precast concrete girder 3 is tensed by the tensile force of PC steel wires 6, prestress is given to it, and it is tensely fixed to the precast concrete pillar 1.
