Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining method and device that can automatically fix a work to be cut, that facilitates cutting of a three-dimensional shape, and that eliminates scattering of machining dust outside.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a transporting roller 2 for transporting and moving a work 1 to be cut, holding mechanism 4, work turning holder 5 equipped with a turning mechanism 8a, or a moving mechanism 6, 7 for moving this work-turning holder, turntable 8 for placing and rotating the work, small YAG laser machining torch 9 arranged opposite to the work, and a multi-spindle general purpose robot 10 for holding this torch. In addition, the device is provided with a remote controller 19 for manipulating the holding mechanism, moving mechanism, turning mechanism, robot arm and the torch. Thus, the device remote-controls the work to be cut and automatically carries out cutting.
