Abstract:

To make a stable and high quality printing possible by a method wherein the printing pressure in a printing surface between a printing plate and a board to be printed is kept constant during printing even under the condition that the thicknesses of the printing plate, a block copy cushion or the like have scatterings.

Both the ends of a plate cylinder, onto which a flexographic plate 5 is installed, are rotatably supported by plate cylinder bearings 8. In addition, both these plate cylinder bearings 8 are separately and independently supported from beneath at a certain pressure by air cylinders 6, resulting in constantly keeping the printing pressure during printing.
