To enhance accuracy for information about a place.SOLUTION: A place information management device (12) comprises: a place information storage section (60) which stores place information (Dc), which is information about the place and which includes first emotion information (Dca) about an emotion that can be felt by a person in the place, in association with the place; a shooting position acquisition section (64) which acquires a shooting position (Df1) of a shot image (De) captured by a shooting device (F); a music information acquisition section (66) which acquires music information (Dn) which is information on music to be reproduced in time to display of the shot image (De) and which includes second emotion information (Dha) about an emotion that can be felt by a person listening to the music; and a place information generation and update section 67 which generates the first emotion information (Dca) about a place corresponding to the shooting position (Df1) or updates the first emotion information (Dca), based on the second emotion information (Dha) of the music information (Dn), and stores the first emotion information (Dca) in the place information storage section (60).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
