PURPOSE: To manufacture the titled image sensor at low cost, and to improve an optical utilization rate by laminating and constituting a light-receiving element array, a transparent insulating film and an EL light-emitting element on a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A thin-film light-receiving element array 11, a transparent insulating film 14 and an EL light-emitting element 15 are formed on a substrate 10 in succession. The surface of an electrode 16 on the side near to the substrate 10 in the element 15 is roughened so that electroluminescence is diffused-reflected from the surface, and the metallic electrode, to a section thereof opposite to the light-receiving opening section of the element 11 a hole is bored, is used. A transparent conductive film is used as an electrode 17 on the side far from the substrate 10 in order to irradiate electroluminescence to a manuscript surface and pass reflected rays from the manuscript surface 23 and enable the light-reception of the element 11. According to such constitution, a light guiding system light focusing rod lens array is unnecessitated, and the titled image sensor can be manufactured at low cost. Since an optical path between the manuscript surface 23 and the array 11 is short and the element can be fast stuck to the manuscript surface 23 completely, the utilization rate of rays is improved.
