Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine translation system executing a translation processing, holding the related information on a test, by extracting the information and editing the text based on the information.
SOLUTION: In a related information extraction/text editing processing, related information extracted in S200 to S240. Based on this related information, a paragraph edition processing, a sentence edition processing, a phrase edition processing and the rewriting processing based on the rewriting rule of a session layer are executed in S250, S260, S270 and S280, respectively. A complicated original sentence text is rewritten and edited into a simple text which is equivalent in information by these processings. Subsequently, a syntax analysis processing, a meaning analysis processing and a sentence synthesizing processing are executed and a translated sentence is outputted.
