Abstract:
To easily peel from the surface of a work the spatters, dross, etc., generating at the time of machining as well as injecting a cooling medium and also to use as a profiling sensor.
A cooling medium or air sprayed from a gap 35 provided between the outer nozzle 27 and the middle nozzle 29 expands along the contours of the middle nozzle 29, thereby removing outside impurities on the surface of the work. An assist gas for example is injected to a machining position from a gap 39 provided between the middle nozzle 29 and an inner nozzle 31.
