PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a sufficient magnetic shielding effect without necessitating the execution of specified and completely sealed works by a method wherein room temperature superconductive substances are mixed or buried in a wall material for sectioning the periphery of a magnetic shielding room.
CONSTITUTION: Granular or powdery room temperature superconductive substances 6 are mixed in a sidewall 2, a ceiling wall 3 and a floor wall 4, which section the periphery of a magnetic shielding room 1. These substances 6 are ones sintered at a proper temperature, are put in a concrete with an aggregate when the aggregate is mixed in the concrete and have only to be kneaded. Accordingly, a specified labor hour is not needed at all. In such the room 1, even though their mutual intervals between the substances 6 in the walls 2∼4 are a little wide, it is prevented for a magnetism existing on the outside to intrude into the room 1 and it can be prevented for a magnetism generated in the room 1 to leak to the outside because a magnetic shielding effect is produced widely on the peripheries of the substances by the complete diamagnetic action and the proximity effect of the substances 6.
