In the winding work, if the belt of the MH pole plate 1 is wound with the surface of its hydrogen storage alloy layer 1b on the outer side, compression stress at the time of winding is not applied to the hydrogen storage alloy layer 1b, so it can be wound stably and preferably without peeling or removal or alloy grains from a mesh core plate by the compression stress.
