To provide a lithographic printing plate requiring no wet processing by adding a heat transferable dye to be transferred in a region where an acceptor material face is exposed to light from a recording material to a recording composition, in a lithographic printing plate using a heat mode recording material and an acceptor material containing a hydrophilic polymer.
This lithographic printing plate is manufactured by exposing an image to light using a laser beam in a heat mode recording material including a recording composition on a support while the recording composition is set in contact with the acceptor layer of an acceptor material including a flexible support. The acceptor layer can be obtained by causing a chemical reaction between a non-proteinic hydrophilic polymer containing a hydroxyl group or an amino group or an amide group containing a free hydrogen and a curing agent capable of chemically reacting with a group and is formed of the cured non-proteinic hydrophilic polymer. The recording composition to be used contains a heat transferable dye to be transferred in a region where an image is exposed to light on the face of the acceptor material from the recording material.
