To obtain a release agent which has excellent drying and release properties and is used for the formation of a jacket crown of a rigid resin on a plaster abutment tooth model by forming a release agent set consisting of an aq. suspension of a polymer having rubber elasticity and an org. solvent soln. contg. a specific silicon compd, etc.
The release agent set consisting of two agents; (A) the aq. suspension of the polymer having the rubber elasticity and (B) an org. solvent soln. contg. the silicon compd. expressed by formula: R1n-Si-(RO2)4-n (where, R1, R2 are alkyl groups or aryl groups, (n) is an integer from 1 to 3) and/or silicone oil as well as sucrose fatty acid ester is used in the release agent to be previously applied on a plaster model in order to facilitate the sepn. of the rigid resin jacket crown after curing from the plaster model for the purpose of crown prosthesis. After the liquid (A) is applied on the part corresponding to the inside surface of the jacket crown exclusive of the margin part of the plaster abutment tooth, the soln. (B) is applied on the margin part.
