To provide a method for rationally obtaining a torus-shape nonwoven grinding wheel having high-density in the vicinity of the outer periphery and a long life.

Rectangular nonwoven abrasive cloths a, b are prepared. The width of the abrasive cloth a is wide, and the width of the abrasive cloth b is narrow. The lengths of both abrasive cloths are the same. A laminated body is obtained by laminating the abrasive cloths a, b. The method of lamination is performed by adjusting one side G' of the length of the abrasive cloth a and one side g' of the length of the abrasive cloth b. After the laminated body is overlapped, a rectangular solid shape block is formed by being pressurized in the thickness direction. A reinforcing cloth is pasted to the surface of the side G side of the block with an adhesive. Afterward, the abrasive cloths a, b are recovered in the thickness direction by being depressurized. Then, the recovery of the thickness progresses on the surfaces of the side G' and g' side, and a cylindrical body is formed. The outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body is formed by the surfaces of the side G' and g' side, and the inner peripheral surface is formed by the reinforcing cloth (the surface of the side G side). The torus-shape nonwoven grinding wheel is obtained by slicing the cylindrical body.
