This measuring device is equipped with a control means for controlling operation of the measuring device, a storage means for storing measuring condition data, a control program and a web server program, a measuring means for measuring based on the measuring condition data, and a communication means for communicating request data or web data with a client device. Since the measuring device itself has a web server function, a web server having a control means other than the control means of the measuring device is not required to be provided on the measuring device side. Since a storage region for measurement remote control and a storage means for the server are controlled by the control means, only data transfer is required when a measurement result is utilized on the web server side, and development of a control software for interface is not required.
