A message processing apparatus comprises a message analysis means 15 determining to display whether or not a reply to a received new message is needed on the basis of the feature of the message; a reply instruction means 17 instructing a reply to a message determined the necessity of the reply; and a reply means 14 transmitting a replay sentence to the transmission source of the message to which the reply is instructed.
