Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce concentration measurement errors to almost zero by correctly obtaining each constant necessary for measuring an alcohol concentration of a sample alcohol aqueous solution.
SOLUTION: A temperature correction circuit 25 in a control substrate 22 calculates a difference of a gas phase temperature and a designated temperature in a chamber 5 and obtains temperature correction data. A sensor detection circuit 26 sends a concentration detection driving current to a contact burning type gas sensor 9 and generates voltage data from an output voltage of the sensor. Moreover, the control substrate 22 forms simultaneous equations on the basis of an alcohol concentration G of each calibration alcohol aqueous solution, the voltage data and temperature correction data when a calibration mode is designated at an operation switch 21. A moisture correction constant (m), a conversion constant (x) whereby an error of the calibration alcohol aqueous solution of the alcohol concentration of a highest frequency becomes minimum are obtained and stored. When a sample mode is designated, the alcohol concentration of a sample alcohol aqueous solution 13 is operated and calculated on the basis of the voltage data, temperature correction data, stored moisture correction constant (m) and conversion constant (x), which is displayed at a display device 23.
