Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING DNA ENDONUCLEASE ACTIVITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003088369
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for detecting DNA endonuclease activity, especially for detecting apoptosis.

Disclosed is a method for detecting the DNA endonuclease activity featured by comprising (a) a process preparing a substrate DNA labeled by a fluorescent marker, (b) a process performing digestion reaction of the substrate DNA by mixing a sample to measure the DNA endonuclease activity with the substrate DNA, (c) a process measuring fluorescence intensity from the fluorescent marker of the substrate DNA at plural elapsed times in a small space for measurement as performed the digestion reaction, and (d) a process detecting the decomposition of the substrate DNA based on flactuation with the lapse of time of the measured fluorescence intensity.
