To solve such a problem that the film thickness of a light emission layer formed by dry processing is one-sided to an area to be ejected where a liquid body is ejected hereafter to cause light emission irregularities since a difference is caused in solvent environment evaporated and formed from the liquid body between an area where the liquid body is already ejected and an area where the liquid body is ejected hereafter, on the seam part of an ejection head.
Light emission layers L10, L14 which are formed on pixels G10, G14 and where a difference in film thicknesses is produced are dissolved by solvent vaporized mainly from dissolution liquid reservoirs M4, M5 (Fig.(a)). The dissolved light emission layer L10 and light emission layer L14 exhibit states of functional liquid K10 and functional liquid K14 respectively (Fig.(b)). When performing redrying processing in such states, deviation in the solvent environment is not present and substantially the same solvent environment is provided in respective pixel areas of the respective pigments G10, G14 and, consequently, the resultant respective light emission layers L10, L14 formed by the redrying processing are formed without causing any difference in film thicknesses, respectively (Fig.(c)).
