To solve a technical problem to be posed so that liquids having different concentrations can be discharged from a single nozzle in order to further increase the expression number of gradations in a conventional liquid discharge method having a small expression number of gradations.
A plurality of liquid discharge openings and a plurality of discharge mechanisms are provided for each of which a first liquid channel for mainly supplying a first liquid, a second liquid channel communicating with the first liquid channel for supplying a second liquid, and a movable member are set at a position for covering a communicating part between the first liquid channel and the second liquid channel. In the liquid discharge method, liquids are discharged with a mixing ratio of the first liquid and the second liquid being changed by a displacement of the movable member. The movable member is displaced with the utilization of expansion and contraction by heating units.
