Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make short circuit between an electric overhead line and a rail even if a voltage is applied on the electric train line erroneously because of the feeder stop, and prevent the rail voltage from being applied on the electric overhead line, as for the railway in the dc electric division.
CONSTITUTION: As for a method for making a short circuit between an electric overhead line in feeder stop in a dc electric division and a rail 3, the electric overhead line and the rail 3 are short-circuited through a diode 2 connected in the direction for suppressing the rail voltage generated between the rail 3 and the ground, and the rail voltage is prevented from being applied to the electric overhead line.
